For thoughtful teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, overthinking, intrusive thoughts, or who may be wondering whether ADHD may be part of the picture.

Does this sound familiar?

Stressed Office Woman
  • You replay conversations or interactions long after they happen

  • You worry if you handled things "the right way"

  • You feel responsible for other peoples' feelings, even when part of you wonders if that's really yours to manage

  • Your mind keeps analyzing, planning, or questioning even when you try to rest

  • You struggle with focus, lose track of tasks, or feel mentally exhausted from trying to stay organized

  • You start tasks easily but lose interest before you can finish

  • Small setbacks in routine can feel overwhelming or exhausting

  • You often find yourself giving so much in your relationships and roles that you feel drained

A Thoughtful, Collaborative Approach

Therapy at Tria Corda Counseling is a space to slow down, think things through, and make sense of what’s really going on—whether it is anxiety, overthinking, or relationship stress. Working together, we will explore your patterns and find strategies that truly fit your mind and life.

In our work together, you can:
  • Understand and manage mental overwhelm
  • Build healthier boundaries in relationships
  • Make decisions with more clarity
  • Approach life with greater steadiness

I take a trauma-informed approach to therapy and also honor the needs of different neurotypes. Faith or spirituality can also be thoughtfully integrated for those who desire it, without pressure.

About Tria Corda Counseling

Hi, I'm Laura! I am Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia and the founder of Tria Corda Counseling, a solo private practice where I work directly with each client. I am dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate space for teens and adults who feels anxious, mentally overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns of people-pleasing. Many clients also suspect ADHD may be a part of the picture, and I offer both therapy and clinical ADHD evaluations to help you understand how your mind works.

My approach is faith-informed, trauma-informed, and attentive to diverse ways of thinking and processing information. Drawing on both professional training and personal experience navigating ADHD, I provide strategies and tools tailored to your unique story and core values - helping you move beyond simply surviving toward feeling steady, confident, and resilient.

While I specialize in telehealth services for maximum flexibility and privacy, I also understand the value of face-to-face connection. I see clients in person at a group practice in Fairfax VA, ensuring that you have access to the setting that best supports your healing journey.

Your Path to Healing Starts Here

I offer flexible options to support your mental health journey, whether you prefer the flexibility and convenience of telehealth, the option to use insurance, or the ability to have in-person connection.

Private Pay - In Person
Private Pay - Telehealth
Insurance - Telehealth

For maximum privacy and flexibility, the telehealth option allows you to connect with a professional from any secure location within the state of Virginia.

I partner with Headway to simplify insurance verification and billing, providing a seamless experience so you can focus entirely on your healing process.

I provide in-person counseling for all ages at a group practice in Fairfax VA. If you prefer an office setting, I can help you get in touch with them to set up appointments.
